Haven’t posted in a long time!  Working on other parts of the business, so the good news is, we’ve been busy.   Very excited to have the Wonderbar available in more retail outlets across the country too.

I just wanted to quickly share the sentiments of a long time customer whom I spoke with yesterday….

“This is the ONE product of all the products I have ever tried that I really do use every last bit of….because it’s a bar, and not in a bottle or jar, I really feel like I get my money’s worth out of every last drop.  And believe me, I use every last drop.”

No holding upside down or scraping the insides to try and get the remaining cream or liquid or whatever.  Just take the small sliver of remaining Wonderbar, get it wet, and attach it to your new Wonderbar.  What could be easier?  I’ve actually heard of this trick being used by many customers.  So, waste not, want not…(that is of course until you want more, and you will! )

Happy Mother’s Day!

This is an update on the skin tag thing…I have heard that the Wonderbar does get rid of them, but I’ve never had to deal with it myself.  Even though we have plenty of testimonials, I recently had someone close to me try it, so I would know for sure how long it takes, if it really works well, etc.  So she started applying the Wonderbar directly to the skin tag twice a day.  First it got really dry and red, then it turned brown…and then it fell off.  It took a little over two weeks, which is exactly how long the dryness lasted for me on my neck (16 days to be exact).  To go to the dermatologist, it costs $200.00 to have one skin tag removed.  So, I’d say you are getting a pretty fair deal just being able to reach for your Wonderbar and take care of things in the comfort of your own home!   Don’t forget that before and after pics earn you a bar on us!!

It’s time for short dresses and shorts, but is your skin still winter white?  Mine is…or, was.  But, there’s that dilemma of not knowing which self-tanner to use.  They all seem so full of junk…plus, it’s almost impossible to find one that doesn’t smell terrible.  Enter Diana B.’s 6–second miracle tan.   It works and smells like chocolate truffles, almonds and coconuts.  That’s enough for me.  Here’s a more detailed description from her website for you:

I love this quote because it fills my head with a few people I know who have been through so much…and done it so gracefully.  You can look into their eyes and see their experiences, good and bad.  They are the people you could just sit with for hours and talk to, listen to and go away at the end feeling a little more enlightened and peaceful.  Embrace your struggles and grow from them.  They make you beautiful!

In addition to your Wonderbar routine, there are things you can do to pamper your skin and keep it healthy and beautiful!  Among some of the more surprising things is the idea that dirty sheets, laden with bacteria, can have an adverse affect on our complexion.  Sounds believable to me!  It is recommended that we change our linens at least once a week—and wash the dirty ones in hot water (130° F). If you have been sick, make that daily. And don’t forget, laundry detergent is soap, so be sure to choose the “extra rinse” option. If not washed thoroughly, the residues can cause allergies and skin irritation.  Another option is to just use organic detergent!  Your skin will thank you!

We get this question a lot.  Our answer?  Well….we’re not sure that a washcloth isn’t every bit as effective, but if you’ve already invested the money, then use it ONLY when you are fully adjusted to the product.  The Wonderbar is an exfoliate and already promotes speedier cell turnover, so the use of an additional scrub or brush can complicate things in the first 2-3 weeks of use.  That is really the time it can be tempting to try to remove the layer of dead skin, but it is the very time you should let the bar do its job.

If you stick with the bar twice daily and only add a pure oil to lock moisture in and a good physical sunblock, believe it or not, this is really all you will need.  After you have adjusted, meaning your skin is balanced and free of irritation, redness, dryness or breakouts, you can use the Clarisonic, or a baby washcloth, once or twice a week to make sure that the dead skin cells that are being pushed up at a faster rate don’t get stuck in your pores.

I’m SO addicted to these!  I was especially excited to find out about their powerful anti-oxidant properties, that they improve circulation and benefit your complexion.  They are commonly referred to as “the happy berry” because their legendary association with supporting good moods.  Be careful, though, you might not be able to stop eating them.  They are like the best tasting things ever, but you only need one a day.  They are packed with vitamin B12, Vitamin C and Goji.  I guess there are worse things I could be addicted to!
