“Healing CRISIS” or “Healing PHASE”?? WonderbarUSA wants to know what YOU think!

brad_beard

If you have an opinion on the term “healing crisis”, I would love to hear it.  There are two clear sides to this debate….some people say YES, absolutely refer to it as a crisis, because it has the potential to feel like one and you need to let people know ahead of time exactly what they could be in for!  The other team says that we should NOT call it a “healing crisis”, as this simply scares people off and is not necessarily accurate.  What do you think??

Are you “Team Healing Crisis” or “Team Healing Phase“?   Let us know, we value your opinion.  Actually, just for entertainment purposes and in an attempt to keep the ever-annoying “love-triangle that won’t die and keeps dogging Jen Aniston no matter what she does” syndrome going, also share with us whether or not  you are “Team Aniston” or “Team Jolie”.  Personally, I have quit both teams and have created a new team called, “Team Lose the Beard Beads, Brad Pitt!”  They are so upsetting and last time I checked, they are not helping anyone.  Unless, of course, they are helping Angelina Jolie, who could have specifically requested them to keep other women away.  Yes, yes, come to think of it, this is probably EXACTLY what happened and who can blame her?  If Jen Aniston would have thought of it, there would BE no triangle and I could have ended my post a long time ago with, “are you ”Team Healing Crisis” or “Team Healing Phase”?  Which I will now…

Hmm, well i definetly think you need to worn people whatever you call it! I’m ending my fourth week and still flakey and broken out, if i hadn’t been warned and had support i would have quit in week one. With that said, my pores are smaller and begging to get a glow. I’ve come to far to turn back now and am excited to keep going! I do think healing phase sound better than crises however. As far as teams, i quit them both and defenitly think brad needs to lose the whole pirate thing!

Well, I’m extremely late to the debate… and maybe it’s too wordy… but how about Healing Crisis Phase? HCP for short! Because “phase” indicates that it will eventually end, which is good. But I like how serious the word “crisis” is. It lets the people who are first using the bar and experiencing the worse-before-it-gets-better know that yes, it probably is supposed to be this bad and that they’re not having a wrong reaction.

I’ve been using the bar over a month and am still firmly in my HCP, *sigh*. I’ve hardly had any dryness at all, but I’ve been breaking out pretty badly for weeks. Which I guess indicates that my skin was extremely oily! Anyhoo, I will keep the faith. I do feel like I have a bit of a glow I didn’t have before, even with the breakouts.

      Hi April,
Actually, continued breakouts can sometimes indicate that you are using a product that is incompatible with the bar. If you are using a moisturizer with added spf, or a product with added salicylic or alpha-hydroxy acid, that would certainly break you out. Let me know your other products if you get a minute! If the breakouts outlast the dryness, you might be able to eliminate a product you are using, thus eliminating the breakouts!

I like healing crisis. For the first seven weeks or so that I was using the Wonderbar I didn’t have much of a healing crisis but I was still getting minor breakouts. I stopped using the sunscreen and moisturizer I was using and am now just using the Wonderbar. I think this has triggered the actual healing crisis for me as my chin looks pretty bad and is breaking out daily. I think the other products I was using in conjunction with the bar may have been masking this phase. I do know it is temporary though thanks to your info on the healing crisis. I personally like the word crisis in this situation because it can be pretty upsetting and those of us that go through a more severe healing stage need to know that there is a light at the end of the tunnel and to stick with it – even if it takes 2 – 4 weeks.
